Shooting at world-famous Bisley

Bisley provides a wonderful location for corporate events with stunning examples of timber-built colonial-style clubhouses which date back to the 1890s.

Formed in 1859, with its origins on Wimbledon Common, the NRA provided a focus for marksmanship for the newly formed corps of volunteers which had been raised to meet the perceived threat of invasion by the French.

The NRA moved from Wimbledon to Bisley in 1890 and brought with it many of the original buildings which give Bisley its unique heritage. The iconic Clocktower, symbolic of the NRA and Bisley, stands proudly overlooking 3000 acres of beautiful natural Surrey heathland.

Continuing a Royal tradition started in 1860, HM The Queen’s Prize Final is held during the World Championships Meeting at Bisley in July each year. The Queen is Patron of the NRA and Prince Charles is President.
